The Shore Opportunity Fund I (“SOFI”) was established in early 2105 to make strategic, value based investments in Jersey Shore area properties and businesses. The basis for investment is 1) a strong belief that the Jersey Shore economy had not fully recovered from the financial crisis when Superstorm Sandy hit the area, 2) private sector capital has not yet reemerged which is providing an opportunity to acquire certain assets at attractive values and 3) markets perform better following significant government investment in infrastructure and residential grants. Investment into SOFI is open to qualified investors.
