Managing Principal, The Hollston Group

Don Slaght is the Managing Principal of The Hollston Group, Hollston Hills LLC and Hollston Realty Group.  Collectively these companies make strategic investments and provide fellow investors and clients with a comprehensive platform of investment, development and advisory solutions in residential and commercial real estate and related industries.

Hollston Hills LLC is the Managing Member of numerous ventures and companies including Northeast Construction and Development, a company of dedicated individuals working relentlessly to redevelop Jersey Shore communities and improve the quality of life for area companies and residents.  Northeast has developed and constructed more than 100 commercial and residential projects over the last 6 years.

Prior to founding Hollston, Don was Co-Founder of Workstage LLC, a national development company that created award-winning, high-performance buildings throughout the United States.  Workstage developed and constructed 30 projects totaling more than $600 million for clients such as ADP, Pay Pal, Northrup Grumman, Cox Communications, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Fairfield University and many others.

Before forming Workstage, Don held a number of positions at Gale & Wentworth, Inc. including Chief Operating Officer.  At Gale & Wentworth, Don managed all service sector divisions including leasing, asset, property and facility management, construction and development services.  Don started in the real estate business and was a Vice President at CBRE (formerly Coldwell Banker Commercial Group).

Don earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance from The University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business Administration.  Don is a charter member of the ‘New Jersey Champions for ZERO’, a dedicated group that sponsors events and raises awareness for men and their families dealing with prostate cancer on behalf of national charity ZERO – The End of Prostate Cancer.   He is also a two-time former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Special Olympics New Jersey and an active supporter of numerous Jersey Shore based charities, as well as the Cape Cod based Grant W. Koch Scholarship Fund.
